Hafner headed for an MRI

Yankees designated hitter Travis Hafner is going for an MRI on his sore right shoulder. Manager Joe Girardi said that Hafner will be out at least a few days -- the Yankees want to make sure it is not more serious.

Hafner has been excellent all year, making up for a lot of the production the Yankees lost due to injuries and offseason defections. Entering Tuesday, Hafner was second on the team in OPS, behind only Robinson Cano, at .893.
