NEW YORK -- Michael Pineda, who missed all of last season due to shoulder surgery, threw four innings in his third rehab start for Class A Tampa on Thursday night.

The 24-year-old right-hander gave up two runs (one earned), five hits, walked one and struck out three.

Brian Cashman said earlier this week that Pineda has been throwing in the mid-to-low 90s, and the GM has been happy with his rehab progress so far.

At this point, it is unknown when Pineda will be ready to rejoin the Yankees.
