A-Rod hit, Girardi ejected

BOSTON -- In the second inning of Sunday night's game, Ryan Dempster intentionally hit Alex Rodriguez with a fastball on ball four pitches. Joe Girardi went nuts, feeling that Dempster should have been ejected. Instead, Girardi was given the hook.

The Yankees went on to score two runs in the inning.
