Brett Gardner, who got hit by a pitch on his right hand Friday night, had an X-ray that came back negative. He is available to play, but Girardi is sitting him against Price, against whom he has two hits in 14 career at-bats (.143). ... Lyle Overbay, who missed Friday night's game with a flu-like illness, is not quite recovered and is likely unavailable tonight.
