A-Rod arrives early at MLB offices

NEW YORK -- Alex Rodriguez arrived at Major League Baseball's Park Avenue Offices at 8:30 a.m. Friday morning, according to police and security officials.

Perhaps A-Rod's early arrival has to do with arbitrator Fredric Horowitz wanting to catch an earlier flight back to Southern California, where he resides, after five days of hearings.

The hearing for the Yankees third baseman's 211-game suspension is not expected to be completed by Friday, according to a source.
