NEW YORK -- Spring may not be just around the corner, but it seems like spring training is.

The Yankees announced they will open their preseason schedule Feb. 25 against Florida State at George M. Steinbrenner Field, then travel to Bradenton, Fla., the next day to face their first big league opponent, the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The Yankees will play 32 preseason games, 17 at home, finishing up with a game against the Miami Marlins at home on March 28 before the regular season begins April 1 against the Astros in Houston.

Season tickets for 2014 Yankees spring training home games go on sale Nov. 18 at steinbrennerfield.com or yankees.com. Individual spring tickets will go on sale Jan. 10 at the Steinbrenner Field box office, online at yankees.com or by calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000.
