CLEARWATER, Fla. -- Well, the Yankees are at Bright House Field, but it definitely isn't bright.

Less than an hour before Thursday's scheduled first pitch, the tarp is on the field. It is pouring. And there is a tornado warning.

There is not one fan in a seat.

The Yankees had Masahiro Tanaka starting and their top lineup, minus Jacoby Ellsbury, scheduled to appear today. I can't imagine that Joe Girardi will have Derek Jeter, Mark Teixeira & Co. take the field now. And I find it hard to believe that the $155 million man will be on the mound in this slop.

But we will keep you updated.
