TORONTO -- The Yankees try to win a series from the Blue Jays this afternoon (1:05 p.m.) behind CC Sabathia, and with a lineup that features the usual leadoff hitter, the red-hot Jacoby Ellsbury, hitting third. Joe Girardi said it was because he gave Carlos Beltran the day off. Also, the Yankees might be the only team in baseball with a No. 9 hitter who is batting .538.
