Joe Girardi said that Dr. James Andrews confirmed the Yankees' diagnosis of CC Sabathia of no structural damage in Sabathia's right knee, according to reports.

Sabathia had surgery to repair a torn meniscus in October, 2010 and Sabathia feared it could be the same issue again. He had the knee drained of fluid on Monday.

Sabathia is on the 15-day DL and the Yankees hope the two weeks off will calm the knee issue. In eight starts, Sabathia has a 5.28 ERA.
