NEW YORK -- Michael Pineda has had another setback.

The New York Yankees hoped Pineda would be able to play catch Saturday, but manager Joe Girardi announced that doctors found more inflammation in Pineda's right shoulder and recommended another week of rest.

The new plan calls for Pineda, who hasn't pitched since he was ejected from the infamous pine tar game in Boston on April 23, to play catch next weekend, if possible.
