NEW YORK -- Derek Jeter completed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. In some nice remarks beforehand, Jeter mentioned Lou Gehrig and Boston College's Pete Frates, who is the inspiration for the ice bucket movement.

Jeter nominated his girlfriend Hannah Davis, Kevin Connolly and Michael Jordan to take the challenge next. Jeter was asked to do it by Jennifer Steinbrenner, who is part of Yankees' ownership, Roger Clemens and Mickey Rourke.

Masahiro Tanaka and CC Sabathia dumped the ice water on Jeter. You can watch it here.
