10:15: Jones pops out to Jeter and there's two down

10:12: Mo retires Pie easy as pie on a comebacker and there's one out in the bottom of the ninth

10:09: Yanks are down --and up -- and Mariano is on to try to close it out

10:06: A-Rod bomb chases Uehara, brings on lefty Mike Gonzalez, who allows single to Cano

10:03: After getting a break on the 1-2 pitch, A-Rod clubs the next one high into the LF seats, 3-run bomb gives yankees a 4-3 lead

10:00: Tex delights the crowd by popping out to third and it's up to A-Rod

10:00: Markakis may have misread Granderson's liner to right, which falls in for a single. The most hated man in Baltimore, Teixeira, up as the go-ahead run at the plate

9:58: Jeter looks at a 1-2 fastball and there's one out

9:55: Posada works the count to 3-2, then leads off the ninth with a line single to left

9:48: D-Rob Ks Luke Scott with a honey of a curve and now Yanks will send up Posada, Jeter, Granderson to try to pull this one out vs. O's closer Uehara

9:42: Burnett is done after 7IP, 6Hs, 3ER, 2HRs. D-Robertson now pitching for the Yankees

9:38: Gardner grounds out to second to end the eighth and the Yankees are three outs away from their ninth loss in 11 games

9:35: Swisher taps out to first, runners advance with two out in the eighth

9:34: Cano strikes out but reaches first when the pitch gets away from Wieters, goes to second on Berkman's single to right, and now Swisher is up to hit for Kearns

9:28: Millwood's out after one of his best outings of the year: 7IP, 5H, 1 ER, 6Ks. RHP Jim Johnson in to protect 3-1 lead in the eighth

9:24: O's extend the lead as Robert Andino barely reaches the left-field seats with a line drive, his first home run in nearly a year, and it's 3-1 Baltimore

9:10: Jeter makes a lot of people happy here in Camden looking at a Millwood fastball for strike three. Two out, one on in the 7th

9:08: Posada hits for Cervelli and draws a walk with one out in the seventh

9:04: We're through six in yet another one-run ballgame, yanks down 2-1, both AJ and Millwood pitching well

8:27: Orioles take the lead when Adam Jones crushes Burnett's 2-0 fastball over the right-centerfield fence. 2-1 in the fourth

8:07: O's tie the game on a sac fly to center by Nick Markakis, scoring Cesar Izturis, who was hit by a pitch, stole second and advanced to third on a ground out

7:59: Millwood bounces back to throw a 1-2-3 third

7:55: Burnett works out of trouble by striking out Wieters and Robert Andino

7:50: Jeter gets another break from the umpires when 2b ump Paul Nauert calls Felix Pie out on a force at second even though Jeter dropped the throw from Teixeira. O's have first and third, one out with Matt Wieters at bat

7:41: Yanks follow A-Rod's homer by loading the bases on a single and two walks, but Jeter lines out hard to third to end the inning sans further damage.

7:24: A-Rod just pulverizes a Millwood fastball, clocked at a juicy 87 MPH, over the left-centerfield fence to give the Yankees a 1-0 lead

7:21: AJ Burnett matches Millwood with a 1-2-3 first, capped by Ty Wigginton looking at a fastball on the corner for the third out

7:14: Millwood pitches a spotless first, including a K of Teixeira on a sharp curveball.

7:08: kevin Millwood's first pitch is a strike to Jeter, who gets booed by the crowd here at Camden

Pre-game clubhouse chatter: Brett Gardner took some early BP and proclaimed himself fit to return to the lineup after missing four games with a sore right thumb. Nick Swisher, however, is still not recovered from his knee bruise and is available only as a pinch-hitter
