Millwood pitches poorly at Triple-A
By Andrew Marchand
With his May opt-out deadline quickly approaching, Kevin Millwood threw a dud at Triple-A. The Yankees have not been enamored with what they have seen from Millwood and tonight's effort will surely not help his cause to be called up. Right now, the one way he remains in the organization is if he can't find another major league team to take him and agrees to stay in the minors longer.
His line tonight for Triple-A Scranton was two innings, six runs (all earned) on seven hits. He walked one and struck out four. Two of the hits were homers.
