Yankees doing Red Sox work for them
By Andrew Marchand
The Yankees have jumped on Wade Davis and the Rays in the second. The big hit was a three-run double by Curtis Granderson.
Nick Swisher started the inning off with a double. He was followed by back-to-back singles from Eric Chavez and Russell Martin. Swisher scored on Chavez' bingle.
Next, Brett Gardner beat a sacrifice bunt. (Well, he was really out, but umpire Scott Barry missed the close call.) Following a Derek Jeter bases loaded strikeout, Granderson smashed his double into the right field corner. Granderson now has 118 RBIs.
