Soriano on GW HR: It was a good pitch Rafael Soriano gave up what proved to be the game-winning home run to Delmon Young in the seventh. Soriano didn't think there was anything wrong with the pitch, a 95-MPH fastball.
"I think it was a good pitch," Soriano said through a translator. "A fastball away and he hit it out."
Soriano actually had done some good work, coming in during the sixth and stranding a man on third. For the first time all season, he sat between innings and returned to pitch. He said he didn't think that any impact on the homer.
