The Yankees will make a stop in Washington D.C. on their way home from spring training, playing an exhibition game against the NL East champ Washington Nationals on Friday, March 29 at 2:05 p.m. The game that could be notable if outfielder Michael Morse, currently a Nat, is wearing a Yankee uniform by then. As sources told's Andrew Marchand today, the Yankees are interested trading for in the right-handed hitting outfielder, who batted .291 with 18 HRs and 62 RBI in 2012.

Single-game tickets will be made available by the Nationals at a date to be determined.

Although it has yet to be finalized, the Yankees may also be play one more pre-season game, at the United States Military Academy at West Point, on Saturday, March 30 before heading to New York for their annual Welcome Home dinner and the season opener on Monday, April 1 against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium.
