Big-time pitchers on display tonight

By Andrew Marchand

TAMPA, Fla. -- Spring training is heating up so you will be able to recognize most of the names taking the mound on Tuesday night.

The Yankees (3-7) will have David Phelps followed by David Robertson, Joba Chamberlain, David Aardsma, Mark Montgomery and Shawn Kelley against the Atlanta Braves.

Besides Phelps, who is competing for the fifth starter spot, Montgomery is the most interesting name on the list as he could be called up to fortify the bullpen this season. The kid is known for having a Robertson-like slider. So far, he has given up a run in two innings of work. He has twos in the hits, strikeouts and walks columns. Earlier in camp, I did a "Get to Know" blog post on him.
