Pineda throwing 95 in Tampa

By Andrew Marchand

While Alex Rodriguez has been cleared for baseball activities, the biggest eye-popping lines from the story are these:

Michael Pineda, who missed all of last season after shoulder surgery, pitched Thursday, reaching as fast as 95-MPH, according to Yankees GM Brian Cashman.

"So he had a good physical day," Cashman said.

Cashman told me the other day that Pineda should be ready for a rehab assignment this month. By sometime in June, Pineda could be in the majors.

QUESTION: What are you expecting from Pineda this season?
