In the past week, Soriano hit .484 (15-for-31) with five home runs, 18 RBIs and nine runs scored.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, Soriano drove in a combined 13 runs -- including a new career high of seven on Wednesday.
In 21 games since being acquired by the Yankees via trade, the 37-year-old is hitting .306 with eight homers and 26 RBIs.
If you recall, Yankees GM Brian Cashman did not want to give up minor league right-hander Corey Black in a deal for Soriano, but was overruled by ownership.
Black, 22, is 2-0 with a 3.21 ERA in three starts for Advanced Class A Daytona.
