Tonight's Yankees lineup

By Wallace Matthews

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- Here is the lineup Joe Girardi is sending out against the Rays and their left-handed starter, David Price, for the second game of this three-game series. First pitch at 7:10 p.m.:

Ichiro Suzuki RF
Eduardo Nunez SS
Robinson Cano 2B
Alfonso Soriano LF
Alex Rodriguez 3B
Vernon Wells DH
Curtis Granderson CF
Mark Reynolds 1B
Austin Romine C

CC Sabathia LHP

Brett Gardner, who got hit by a pitch on his right hand Friday night, had an X-ray that came back negative. He is available to play, but Girardi is sitting him against Price, against whom he has two hits in 14 career at-bats (.143). ... Lyle Overbay, who missed Friday night's game with a flu-like illness, is not quite recovered and is likely unavailable tonight.
