Wednesday's Yankees lineup

By Wallace Matthews

TORONTO -- Here's the lineup for tonight's rubber game with the Blue Jays and RHP Todd Redmond:

Brett Gardner CF
Derek Jeter SS
Curtis Granderson DH
Alfonso Soriano LF
Alex Rodriguez 3B
Lyle Overbay 1B
Mark Reynolds 2B
Ichiro Suzuki RF
Chris Stewart C

Hiroki Kuroda RHP

Eduardo Nunez was originally in the lineup at 2B, replacing Robinson Cano, who was hit by a pitch on the left hand Tuesday night and was not expected to play. But after going through pregame drills, Nunez was scratched with pain in the right knee he injured Tuesday night and replaced by Reynolds, who has played all of three innings at second base in his entire seven-year career. He did take grounders at second before the game. We'll have more details on Nunez when the Yankees provide them.
