We will have more on this later, but Jason Taylor has agreed in principle to become a Jet according to a league source.
What do the Jets think? We've gotten some feedback from players and they are all for the acquisition. The Jets are a win now team, and Taylor can help them do that even if he's had a rocky relationship with Jets fans.
"This is all entertainment, it's just talking back and forth," Jets RT Damien Woody said. "Our ultimate goal is to win an championship and I'm all for getting players who can help us do that."
No question this changes the team's needs going into the draft. The Jets still need a passrusher to bring up in the system, but may not need to try to grab one quite so high up.
The NFL schedule is starting to be leaked and the Jets are in Detroit on Nov. 7.
