The wife of former Cowboys Pro Bowl tight end Jay Novacek was found dead at a home in the Dallas-Fort Worth area Monday morning, according to the Tarrant County medical examiner's office. LeAnne Novacek was 45.
At 8:37 a.m., Burleson police and fire departments responded to "a report of a medical emergency, possible suicide" at a residence in Burleson, a police spokeswoman told ESPNDallas.com. The body was found in the bedroom of the residence, according to the police report.
Novacek, who began his pro career with the Cardinals, was a valuable member of three Super Bowl-winning Cowboys teams of the 1990s. He went to five Pro Bowls during that time.
