What did the Eagles learn?

Phil Sheridan of the Inquirer had an interesting column Tuesday regarding the future of the Philadelphia Eagles. He hopes the lesson that coach Andy Reid learned is that you have to make choices that make an immediate impact. He correctly points out that the Eagles have almost outsmarted themselves both in the draft and in free agency.
They've obviously done a nice job of stocking the defense the last couple years. Now, they need to accomplish some things on the offensive side. Donovan McNabb is once again asking for more weapons -- and I think he'll get some. Lorenzo Booker was a complete bust as a change-of-pace back and Correll Buckhalter's not the type of player who can take over full-time when Brian Westbrook gets banged up, which is pretty much every season now.
