Speaking at a predraft news conference Tuesday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones admitted to being concerned about all the moves the Eagles and Redskins have made this offseason. And that was before the Redskins traded for former Rams first-round draft choice Adam Carriker. OK, maybe that one didn't strike fear in Jones' heart, but you get the picture.

"I do have concern," said Jones. "They have improved and yes, I do have concerns. I don’t know if that means we haven’t done things or wouldn't have done things that we have improved as well. But I certainly look with interest and I can't tell you whether they’ve improved or not, but they sure have been moving around but I'm talking about at least Philadelphia and the Redskins."

Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com wonders what to make of the Cowboys' inactivity. I think it's fair to say the Redskins have closed the gap on the Cowboys in some ways, but it looks like the Eagles have taken a step back. At this point, I still think the Giants are the biggest threat to the Cowboys. But one thing is clear: The Redskins have become the most interesting team in the division.

OK, I have to go see who Mike Shanahan has signed since I've been writing this entry.
