Don't let this one catch you by surprise, but Redskins defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth is skipping another "voluntary" minicamp. Haynesworth will be required to attend next month's mandatory camp, but that's probably the only time he'll spend at Redskins Park leading up to training camp.

I asked linebacker London Fletcher about Haynesworth's absence Thursday. He said it would certainly help the team to have Haynesworth show up for the camps, but that he's decided not to call him in Nashville and campaign for his return.

"Every player has his own way of getting ready for the season," said Fletcher. "Players take different approaches mentally. It happens. Albert's not unique in this situation. He's doing what he feels is necessary. I would love for him to be here with us, though. But I'm not overly concerned about the situation."
