Eagles cornerback Lito Sheppard just went through the most frustrating season of his career. The two-time Pro Bowler and former first-round draft pick couldn't even get on the field as a nickel corner in the second half of the season.
But kudos to the Eagles for actually finding a trading partner in the New York Jets. The Eagles landed the Jets' fifth-round pick in April's draft and a conditional pick in the 2010 draft. And that's when this could become a potentially great deal for the Eagles.
Depending on how Sheppard performs with the Jets, that conditional pick could be as high as a second-rounder.
