The Dallas Cowboys signed free-agent linebacker Matt Stewart to a one-year contract Monday. Stewart was taken in the fourth round of the draft in 2001.
He's started 61 games during his career and had eight sacks, one interception and eight pass deflections. He's another player that Wade Phillips coached when he was with the Falcons.
