The Dallas Cowboys addressed the loss of Chris Canty by signing Chargers defensive end Igor Olshansky to a four-year contract Friday. Olshansky had started 70 of 75 games since being taken in the second round of the '04 draft. He played three years under Wade Phillips.

Olshansky, the only player in the league born in the former Soviet Union, will compete with Stephen Bowen and Jason Hatcher for the starting job.
He's not a great pass rusher but he's been outstanding against the run.
