ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- Terrell Owens responded to Donovan McNabb's latest comments about their time together in Philadelphia.

Owens, addressing the subject after the Cowboys' dual workout with the Denver Broncos, sounded confused about why McNabb continues to dwell on that time period.

"I love my situation here," Owens said. "Other than that, things that happened in Philly happened three years ago. I don't know what the deal is with me being in the news from (McNabb). I am happy here. I am scoring touchdowns. I have scored as many touchdowns in just as many games with Tony Romo as I did with them. I don't know what the problem is."

You have to give Owens credit. We all know he is capable of inserting his foot in his mouth. However, when others say something curious about him, he has a way of taking the high road. There is a method to his verbal madness.

Owens was clearly the star attraction on Denver's practice field, a place he once came close to calling home.

Remember, Owens huddled with Denver coach Mike Shanahan in January 2006. The Broncos were the first team Owens was linked to when it became clear his days in Philadelphia were over.

But Denver never made a real play for Owens and the Broncos traded for Green Bay's Javon Walker that spring. Walker was cut this offseason after a strong 2006 season and an injury-plagued '07 season in Denver.
