Following his annual appearance at the Dallas Cowboys' kickoff luncheon Wednesday, Jerry Jones provided an update on wide receiver Roy Williams' back and hip injuries. Williams hasn't said whether he thinks the injuries will keep him out of the opener against the Redskins on Sept. 12, but Jones had a thought.
"The [athletic] trainers have given me no indication that he won’t be," Jones said of Williams' availability.
Starting right tackle Marc Colombo told ESPNDallas.com's Calvin Watkins that he's not sure about his status for the opener. Jones has been very optimistic that Colombo would be ready for the game.
