Celek: Eagles have a 'good problem' at QB

9/20/2010

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek is best friends with quarterback Kevin Kolb, so he has a unique perspective on the whole debate that's going on among fans regarding who should line up behind center. Anthony Gargano and Glen Macnow of WIP in Philly, both longtime Beast enthusiasts, asked Celek today if he could understand why a lot of fans want Michael Vick to remain the starter.

“I totally understand that because Mike is playing great football," said Celek via sportsradiointerviews.com. "And everyone wonders, if it’s working, why fix it? But Kevin was the starting quarterback and he’s a great quarterback, too. I think we have a good problem, having two great quarterbacks on our team. I don’t think that’s a bad thing."

Well, it certainly worked out Sunday. Now we'll see how Kolb responds against the Jaguars.
