Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant was limited in Wednesday's practice because of sore ribs, the result of an injury he suffered against the Washington Redskins. Coach Wade Phillips called it a "slight" injury and said he fully expects Bryant to play against the Texans on Sunday.
But Bryant's not in a position to miss much practice right now. Some folks had praised him for his diligent study habits during his extended time off due to an ankle injury, but the rookie wide receiver has appeared confused on the field at times during two games. When he's not the primary receiver, Bryant can be seen sort of wandering around in routes.
If Bryant spent all those hours in the playbook, you'd think he would have a little better grasp of things. Right now, the Cowboys are having to spend a lot of time catching him up to speed.
