Samuel predicts Eagles Super Bowl win via Twitter

Eagles cornerback Asante Samuel rarely speaks to the media, but he's found another way to communicate with his fans. Samuel has joined defensive end Trent Cole and the rest of the Twitter revolution, which already seems outdated. Twitter enthusiast and Eagles beat writer Les Bowen has been following Samuel and Cole's "tweets" the last couple weeks.

"This is about to be a superbowl winning season fareal," writes Samuel.

The cornerback also talks about Eagles rookie wide receiver Jeremy Maclin (column coming soon), predicting he'll be one of the top five rookies in the league. Spelling seems to be an afterthought for Samuel, but letters can be confusing. If you want to follow Samuel's Twitter feed, here it is. The hotel where he was staying in San Francisco ran out of "spaghetti sauce", so he needed our help finding another restaurant.

And if Samuel's Twitter feed's not enough, here's Cole's.

Update: The Eagles have confirmed that someone was posing as Samuel and Cole. The players don't even have Twitter accounts.
