When the Giants-Vikings game was postponed until Monday night, I figured those of us in the Dallas-Fort Worth area would be able to see Redskins-Bucs today. Well, that didn't quite work out for me since the Lions-Packers game is on my screen right now.
The Giants' game on Monday will be available on FOX in New York City, Minneapolis, Rochester and Mankato, Minn., according to ESPNNewYork.com. And if you subscribe to DirecTV's NFL Sunday Ticket, you can also watch the game (I'm never home on Sundays, so I don't subscribe). My suggestion to Giants fans outside of New York is to figure out which of your friends has the Sunday Ticket package/large TV with brilliant clarity and watch the game at their place. Or I'm told that sports bars have been known to pay for the Sunday Ticket.
I also encourage you to watch every minute of ESPN's "Monday Night Football" game featuring the Ravens and Texans as they resume their storied rivalry. In other NFC East-related news, Ryan Torain has 18 carries for 158 yards, and the Redskins have a 10-3 halftime lead against Tampa Bay. Donovan McNabb is 10-of-14 for 110 yards and a touchdown pass.
The Redskins (5-7) obviously need the Giants and Eagles to falter against the Vikings and Cowboys to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
