Michael Vick on 'Mike and Mike'

December, 17, 2010
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick joined ESPN Radio's "Mike and Mike" Friday morning to discuss a variety of topics, including Sunday's matchup against the New York Giants.

Asked by Mike Golic when things really began to change for him as a quarterback, Vick said, "I thought about changing a lot of my work habits. I'm always chasing perfection. I want to be great. I just started putting things in perspective on what I could do to become a complete quarterback."

Vick was also asked about leading the Pro Bowl fan voting:

"It means a lot to me," said Vick. "More than anyone could ever know. It just goes to show I'm moving forward both on and off the field ... Doing what the fans like to see, and that's making good plays and winning."

Vick credited his coaches and teammates for his remarkable season, and he singled out NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, mentor Tony Dungy and Eagles head coach Andy Reid for their efforts.
