No big surprises here, so I'm not going to blow this out like I'll be doing Saturday afternoon. The Philadelphia Eagles have made eight cuts, which reduces their roster to 67 players. By tomorrow at 4 p.m. ET, they'll have to be at 53. Here are the eight cuts:

WR Bam Childress

CB Therrian Fontenot

CB Nick Graham

WR Jamal Jones

RB Ryan Moats (waived/injured)

S Marcus Paschal

OL Stefan Rodgers

LB Pago Tagofau

Nothing stands out here, but on a personal note, I'm sad to see former Louisiana Tech star Ryan Moats' career in Philly come to an end. I always thought he would make an outstanding punt returner (like Sproles in San Diego), but things didn't work out. He went to high school about two miles from my house at Bishop Lynch, and always stopped by the weight room to work with the school's young athletes in the offseason. I'm hoping the Friars take down Jesuit tonight in honor of Moats.
