The Eagles filled out their eight-man practice squad by adding four players Monday: Cornerback Jack Ikegwuonu, S Reshard Langford, LB Jeremy Leman and FB Marcus Mailei. Leman's the only member of the group who went to camp with another team, the Carolina Panthers.
I watched the Panthers play the Giants on "Monday Night Football" a couple weeks ago and Leman was dominant in the second half. He finished with seven tackles and he looks like a fiery player. NFC South blogger and former Charlotte, N.C., resident Pat Yasinskas said that Leman was the "biggest surprise" on the Panthers' cutdown list.
The Eagles are obviously a little thin at linebacker and it wouldn't surprise me if Leman gets the call-up at some point this season.
