It looks as though New York Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks could make his return from his hamstring injury Sunday in San Francisco, but don't count on seeing running back Ahmad Bradshaw in that game. ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that, according to a team source, Bradshaw will not play Sunday due to the foot injury that kept him out of last week's game. That would make Brandon Jacobs the lead back again as Bradshaw gets another week of rest in the hopes that his foot will continue to heal.
Bradshaw has not practiced since injuring the foot in the Giants' Week 8 game against the Dolphins. Nicks practiced Thursday for the first time since that game, albeit on a limited basis, and has a practice plan for this week that's designed to allow him to play Sunday. Not a sure thing yet that Nicks will play, but apparently it is a sure thing that Bradshaw will not.
