GREEN BAY, Wis. -- It looked like Tony Romo and Jason Witten had settled into a nice rhythm as the Cowboys headed down the field. But from time to time, the Pro Bowl tight end almost becomes too much of a safety blanket for Romo.
It looked like T.O. and Witten were too close to each other on the route in the end zone. Romo tried to force the ball and free safety Nick Collins had an easy pick. There was just way too much traffic to deliver a pass into.
Romo's three turnovers this season have all come in the end zone, one in his own and two in the opponents'. You have to protect the ball in the red zone, and on that play, Romo took at least three points off the board. After the 61-yard return by Collins, the Packers have taken a 6-3 lead.
