The look on Orlando Scandrick's face said it all. He and Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins are no longer splitting the starting job opposite Terence Newman.

Scandrick confirmed Wednesday that Jenkins will make his second consecutive start this Sunday in Denver. In Scandrick's only start, he was victimized by the Giants' receivers on several occasions. On Wednesday, Scandrick sat in front of his locker with a dejected look on his face.

"It sucks that I can't show that I can play the actual corner spot," he told the Beast. "You don't want to get labeled as a nickel player."

Scandrick appeared to play better than Jenkins in the preseason, but he faltered against the Giants. Jenkins had the Cowboys' first interception of the season against the Panthers and for the most part, he did a much better job with his tackling.
