In the aftermath of Sunday's embarrassing loss to the Raiders, there was a little bit of good news. Turns out that left tackle Jason Peters (knee/ankle) should be ready to go in next Monday's game against the Redskins.
In the aftermath of Sunday's embarrassing loss to the Raiders, there was a little bit of good news. Turns out that left tackle Jason Peters (knee/ankle) should be ready to go in next Monday's game against the Redskins.
"He should be able to work through that and be ready this week," head coach Andy Reid said. "He's walking around halfway decent. We’ll see how he does."
When I saw some of King Dunlap's work Sunday, I thought it might be time for Reid to call upon Jon Runyan. But on Monday, Reid said he didn't have plans to work out any offensive tackles. Some Eagles fans may try to attribute Sunday's loss to Peters' injury. I certainly wouldn't support that theory.Sort comments by: Most Recent | First Posted
