Breaking down the power rankings

The NFC East once again received an enormous amount of respect in the ESPN.com power rankings. The Giants, Redskins and Cowboys all finished in the top five, and the Eagles were at No. 12.
If you're an Eagles fan, you should send a thank you note to AFC East blogger Tim Graham, who voted them No. 6. Paul Kuharsky of AFC South fame had the Eagles seventh. After watching two consecutive losses, I dropped Philadelphia to No. 18.
The Giants would've been a unanimous No. 1, but NFC South blogger Pat Yasinskas dropped them to No. 2 behind the Titans. The lowest vote the Redskins received was a No. 5 vote from Graham. The highest vote the Cowboys received was Graham's No. 2, but Yasinskas kept them honest with a No. 6 vote.
In other league news, I thought it was interesting that the Patriots kept a top 10 ranking despite the fact that two voters had them at No. 16. Jeremy Green gave New England a big boost with a No. 6 ranking.
Green has been the panel's most controversial voter the past six weeks. I thought he was pretty tough on the Cardinals, putting them at No. 21 after an impressive win over the previously undefeated Bills.
