Washington Redskins

Jason Reid writes that the Redskins are hoping the rookie defensive backs who've looked good early in camp can help the team answer its biggest 2013 roster question -- the secondary.

Aldrick Robinson is getting a longer look as the Redskins look to sort out their wide receiver situation behind Pierre Garcon. As our man John Keim pointed out on Twitter on Wednesday, the key to Robinson earning a starting spot might be what he shows as a blocker. He wasn't much in that department last year.

Dallas Cowboys

The short-lived signing of Brandon Moore before he decided to retire Wednesday morning was a clear sign that the Cowboys weren't satisfied with what they had at their starting guard spots. They might be stuck with ol' Mackenzy Bernadeau now, as Todd Archer writes.

George Selvie might have been the surprise defensive line star of the Cowboys' preseason opener Sunday, but Nick Hayden is also making an impression as the Cowboys explore the depth they do or don't have behind their starters on the line.

New York Giants

Another year, another new starting tight end for Eli Manning and the Giants. Manning has high praise in the early going for new guy Brandon Myers.

Tom Coughlin would like his players to stop hitting each other so hard in practice.

Philadelphia Eagles

Former Eagles coach Dick Vermeil casts his vote for Michael Vick for Eagles starting quarterback. Of course, as Vermeil points out, it doesn't much matter what he thinks, since he's not picking the quarterback this season.

New Eagles cornerback Cary Williams is having some trouble staying on the practice field this training camp.
