Eagles coach Andy Reid has been adamant that running back Brian Westbrook will return to the field against the Chargers on Sunday. But you could see why folks keep asking the question. Westbrook practiced two days last week before a headache and ankle injury kept him out of the Cowboys game.

Reid said Westbrook looked a lot more like himself this week, so it would be a surprise if he doesn't play.

In other injury news, left tackle Jason Peters (right ankle) told reporters Friday that he will play against the Chargers. I think he earned a lot of respect from his teammates for battling through the injury in the second half against the Cowboys. If he can't play Sunday, it looks like Todd Herremans will move over from his left guard spot. Nick Cole would then move from right to left guard.

I'd be surprised if Peters didn't play, though.
