More bad news for the Cowboys with Terence Newman missing practice Friday with a groin injury. According to owner Jerry Jones, the injury has nothing to do with the one that led to sports hernia surgery. Coach Wade Phillips said he didn't know what was wrong with Newman.

Newman is now listed as questionable with a sore groin, and there's a good chance the Cowboys will hold him out of Sunday's game. Rookie cornerback Mike Jenkins would replace Newman and another rookie, Orlando Scandrick, would play the nickel.
