Cowboys coach Wade Phillips made it clear this week that Marc Colombo, who has missed seven games with a broken leg and an ankle injury, will be back in the starting lineup today at right tackle. ESPN's Ed Werder is reporting that there is some division within the Cowboys organization about whether Colombo should replace Doug Free, who has played remarkably well in his absence.
I've talked all week about the possibility of Colombo's return affecting the continuity of the offensive line. Now it seems like there are also people within the Cowboys organization who've had the same thought.
Werder is also reporting that Eagles coach Andy Reid was so troubled by his offense's lack of productivity that he's looking into the possibility that the Eagles were tipping off plays based on whether Brian Westbrook or LeSean McCoy was in the game.
Food for thought as we prepare for tonight's big game.
