Even though the Cowboys are taking the day off, it will be a busy day on the Beast. Here's a rundown of what you can expect:
- At noon ET, we'll conduct our weekly chat. Suggested topics: Cowboys-Vikings, Mike Shanahan's coaching staff, Tom Coughlin's latest firings and Andy Reid's defense of Donovan McNabb.
- At 1 p.m. ET, the NFL Blog Network will present a special package on X factors. I've chosen a certain running back from the Cowboys for my entry.
- Later this afternoon, the folks at ESPNDallas.com will publish my weekly column. Today I'm planning to write about the top kickoff man in the league, David Buehler. He's a touchback waiting to happen, and he's the main reason the Cowboys have one of the best kick coverage units in the league.
- In deference to my readers who loves numbers, I have some charts up my sleeve.
- Coming Wednesday: A blogger debate with NFC North guru Kevin Seifert, who spent several years covering the Vikings for the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
