McNabb and Romo headed to Pro Bowl?
By Dan Graziano
We already knew that Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb would replace the NFC title game's winning quarterback on the NFC Pro Bowl team, but now it's likely that the losing quarterback, Brett Favre, won't be able to play in Sunday's all-star game. That could open the door for Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo to be added to the roster.
I think McNabb and Romo both played well enough this season to deserve a Pro Bowl appearance. And when it's all said and done, the Cowboys and Eagles could have a combined 17 players on the roster.
Moving the Pro Bowl to the weekend before the Super Bowl may have given the game more visibility, but the product appears to be suffering more than usual with so many players choosing not to participate.
At this rate, the league should consider renaming this the NFC East All-Star game.
