Forget what I said about the wind

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- It looks like it's howling down there. We were a little distracted during that drive while trying to find Redskins wide receiver Antwaan Randle El (working for NFL Network) an extra seat.

I know Tom Coughlin hated doing it, but he's brought two kickers to today's game because of the wind. That time, kickoff specialist (for now) Lawrence Tynes only got the ball to the 15-yard line. It's something we'll keep our eye on as the game goes on.

Eagles' first offensive possession: Let's see if Andy Reid tries to establish the running game. First play, he gets Donovan McNabb on the move and has a 9-yard completion to rookie wideout DeSean Jackson. On that first drive, Giants safety Michael Johnson was jamming Jackson at the line of scrimmage. And on second-and-long, Johnson did a great job of covering Brian Westbrook in the open field. It's obvious that a huge part of the Giants' defensive focus is to surround Westbrook at all times.
